Auxillary Info and Dates
There will be meeting May 8th from 8 to 9ish in the Fairmont Band Room to discuss everything in this letter. If you cannot attend, want to help, have group names your want considered or have additional questions, please feel free to email me at chmorris3@gmail.com
All Auxiliary have the option as to what you want do during the half time show. We will continue to enter to the fight song, have flag routine to second number, dance routine to third number and then long train. Do as little or as much as you want. Mike Berning would like to see our homecoming show get larger and in order to do this, we need the participation of every graduate of the Kettering School system.
Flags will be more like swing flags (about 3’ tall) and the routine will be simple. This routine will be a learning curve for most of us so keeping it simple will ensure the routine looks good and anyone wanting to participate will be able to perform this number.
The practice schedule is listed below and is changing slightly. Just so everyone knows there may be several additional changes over the next month as I get help or don’t get help. Please check your emails and/or Facebook for any updates, schedule changes, cancellations, etc.

Everyone needs to attend 1 practice prior to the Thursday evening practices of homecoming week. This year Wednesday September 19 will be a practice for anyone from out of town wanting to learn the routines. If you can not make any of these practices and still want to perform at homecoming. Please send me an email and we will work something out.
For anyone that has not attended homecoming in the past, the fight song pom routine is from Fairmont East in the 1980s, the fight song flag routine is the current band routine. Long train has not changed. Both the flag and dance routines will be very simple, and kicks for the dance routine are only waist high. Everything will be taught during summer practices. The first hour of practice will be dedicated to the dance routine. The balance of practice will be divided among everything else as needed. I am trying to get videos of all routines for anyone out of town or anyone else that would like to use them. I will give more information on this as I get the information.
As of today, I do not know what the music selections are for this year. I hope to have this information by May 8th.
