Summer/Fall rehearsals for drill team, guard and flag members – from 630p to 8pm  

Rehearsals will be held at John F. Kennedy Elementary School on the cafeteria (south) side or in the gymnasium. Those wanting to participate in the drill/flag dance Homecoming night MUST attend at least one practice prior to Homecoming week AND also attend the Thursday practice of homecoming.  IF YOU ARE FROM OUT OF TOWN, PLEASE CONTACT TINE OR MONICA TO MAKE ARRANGEMENTS FOR HALFTIME.

 

Music/Long Train Rehearsal for all alumni (band/drill/guard/flags) – Wednesday during the week of homecoming from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the Fairmont High School Band Room.  We will practice music, Long Train and Auxiliary dance.

 

Drill and flag MANDATORY practice - Thursday of Homecoming Week at the Board of  Education (old Barnes), 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. (This is when we practice with the current  Band)

Registration on Friday starts at 4:00 PM. 

 

Friday night after game get together for alumni and family at TBD.  

 

There have been requests in the past for non alumni to participate in the half-time show.  While all family members are cordially invited to enjoy the show and game, half-time participation  (including dinner, refreshments after rehearsal and free admission to the game) is limited to performing alumni (musicians, drill, guard, flags, etc.).  Tickets for admission to the game can be purchased through the Fairmont Athletic Office or at the field the day of the game.  Other  activities, including the post game gathering are for everyone.

 

Band dress/uniform for homecoming is plain white shirt or official alumni shirt, dark blue pants, blue jeans or blue shorts and shoes. Drill dress/uniform is black jazz pants, white long sleeve shirt or official alumni shirt and white tennis shoes.  Order form for spirit wear is available to print off on the website.   Please note that all orders must be received before August 29th and will be distributed September 19^th at registration

We are requesting a donation from everyone this year to defray mailing and increasing costs.  . Please send your donation along with your registration to Fairmont Alumni Band c/o Monica Benbow, 440 Sunnycliff Place, Centerville, OH 45459.  Please make checks payable to Fairmont Alumni Band.  Your assistance is greatly appreciated.
